The International School Of Advertising is pleased to host the Virtual Masterclass Series, Learn and Excel.

This series will be led by carefully selected industry experts who have gone through the tumultuous times presented by Covid-19 and yet,  been able to  thrive.

Priscilla is currently the General Manager for Glovo Kenya. Prior to that, she was the Africa Marketing Head for Glovo where she led the team that successfully launched the Glovo brand in Kenya and Cote Dívoire. Having worked in other tech companies including  Sendy and OLX, she has gained over 13 years experience in Business Ddevelopment and marketing, 9 of which have been in the tech space. She also has a wealth of experience in tech business growth hacking, route to market strategy development as well as business modelling. Her passion is in   solving African problems using technology and innovations.

He holds a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics, an MBA from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Egerton University, and he is a qualified Accountant with ACCA (UK), a certified public accountant in Kenya (CPA, K) and a licensed Investment Banker by FINRA, (U.S.A)

Currently Managing Director, Mediacom and MEC East Africa, Serah leads a team of key Connection and Content experts to deliver strategy, optimized execution and content planning that drives the best in market value and results across all media platforms in East Africa.

Previously, she held the positions of Country Manager, JWT, Scanad & Roundtrip Tanzania, Media and Client Service Director JWT and Scanad Tanzania and Regional Media Director East Africa, Scan Group. These multi-discipline senior and Africa positions have given her unmatchable experience in Business Strategy, System Thinking, Communication Strategy, Data and Analytics  and business planning both locally and in the region.

Serah is a champion for equity at the work place, with a team that is 72% female even at leadership level, it is her dream to build great women leaders and drive gender equality in the industry especially in senior leadership. This is her passion, and hence mentoring young women comes naturally.

In 2018 she was the first ever Kenyan woman Jury President at Loeries Awards in Durban, Serah holds an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Business Management from Harvard Business School, a Post Grad Degree from University of Liverpool, CIM Diploma from Oxford University. She just started an MBA in Creative Leadership with University of Berlin.

About Marion

Marion has over 10 years’ experience in the world of insights and integrated marketing communications with experience working with both local and international clients across the region. She has worked for a consumer collaboration agency where she learnt to uncover consumer insights through different research techniques, then moved to the agency world working for the biggest advertising and communications agency in East-Africa; Scangroup Limited. After 3 years she moved to the corporate world, having worked for Airtel and then later Safaricom; working to help them build their brands and consumer segments. She is now back at the agency, working as the Business Unit Head at Mediacom Kenya.
