About: Wanjiru Kiriro
With over 25 years’ experience in her trade. Wanjiru spent the nineties at McCann Erickson Kenya and then South Africa doing media planning and implementation for clients such as Unilever, GSK and Eskom.
In the 2000’s she was carrying out media audience research that included project management, generating consumer insights and selling the research to different stakeholders
The last decade has predominantly been spent on training. This has been focused on interpretation and application of media audience data in the industry. She trains across industry including media owners, marketing professionals, advertising agencies and students
Her training incorporates the use of media planning software to analyze audience data for media evaluation, scheduling and post campaign analysis.
In her spare time, she does volunteer work with the Lions Clubs of Kenya.
Wanjiru has a BCom and MBA from the University of Nairobi.
